Partners for Community Renewal

The partnering organizations listed below contributed money for the Community Action Fund, which is the seed money communities use to research and build their project designs. Most importantly, these organizations gave the time of one or more valuable staff member to work directly with communities in building a better future.

Ahp-cii-uk has attracted many great corporate, government and not-for-profit organizations. Depending on the nature of the organization and its ability, they contribute money to the Community Action Fund, donate materials, and have a Working Partner involved in community projects.

Working Partners Testimonial

"I have an Economics Degree from UVIC, and worked in Aboriginal Economic Development and Business Lending for 20 years on the BC coast. I have been with NEDC for 6 years. This project has offered a chance to work on something different with some exciting alternatives and developments in comparison to some of my usual daily routine.  Also a strong chance of some successful outcomes locally."  — Clifford Anderson, NEDC

Clifford Anderson has been an active member of Ahp-cii-uk Ahousaht, Ehattesaht and Tseshaht Working Groups. He is a member of the Tsimpsean Nation and Hartley Bay Band.
